For any music lovers out there, today might be a great excuse to add to that collection.
In the spirit of the holiday, I’ve DRUMMED up some interesting facts about instruments.
- The harmonica was invented in 1821 by Christian Buschmann, but other variations of the instrument are thought to have existed much earlier.
- It was also one of the first instruments played in space.
- The most popular instrument in the United States is the piano.
- The biggest known tuba in the world weighs more than 100lbs!
